Elderly care or elderly care-less?

The Alzheimer Europe guidelines show how much we have to do in terms of the organization of senior care in Poland, which is inhabited by the fastest aging society in Europe. Nota bene… with the lowest number of births since December 2015 and back to the level before 500+.The main tasks of governments include providing financial and logistical support, e.g. for:
Dissemination of tests for all medical and care personnel as well as personnel of entities cooperating with long-term care units providing full access to personal protective equipment.
Importantly, the Society indicates the universality of solutions, so regardless of the form of employment, the legal form of the entity (Assisted Living, nursing homes, etc.) and the ownership structure (public, private).

Meanwhile, the government earmarked funds only for aid financed by local governments in the amount of … PLN 20 million … there are about 80,000 inhabitants there … this means, de facto, giving up planned investments.

I encourage you to read the recommendations of Alzheimer Europe in the area of seniors care in the age of COVID:
